The Perlman Music Program is a summer program for gifted young musicians. Founded by Toby Perlman, wife of violinist Itzhak Perlman, in 1995, the program is headquartered in Shelter Island, New York. Nathalie joins the faculty again for another year as Director of Contemporary Chamber Music, curating the annual works-in-progress performance of music by living composers.
The Bang on a Can Summer Music Institute at MASS MoCA (the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) is a 3-week musical utopia for innovative composers and performers in the beautiful Berkshire mountains of western Massachusetts dedicated entirely to adventurous contemporary music. Nathalie joins the faculty for the first time this season.
