I had the incredible honor of performing at Haiti Cultural Exchange’s tribute to Haitian icon Toto Bissainthe. The show featured an amazing audiovisual installation chronicling her life, and interpretations of her work performed by myself, Riva Nyri and Talie. Toto was huge inspiration in the making of my album, Fanm d’Ayiti, so it was wonderful to celebrate her life in this way – a truly unforgettable evening.
